Marché Classes
We love talking about great cheese almost as much as we love eating it. So what a perfect way for us to spread the love (and the curd) – our ongoing series of classes designed to widen your appreciation for all things fromage. Appropriate for the novice to the cheese whiz, our classes are structured yet informal and include class outline, tasting notes and plenty of cheese and wine.
We also offer our fun and informative classes for your own group or association, both in-store and virtually. Click here to learn more about our private events and contact us to start planning your special event.
Cancellations must me made within 72 hours of the class in order to be refunded. We will do our best to fill seats from our waitlist.

We absolutely love it when kids are enthusiastic at our cheese counter - so we’ve designed a special evening just for them and their families. We’ll taste our way through several styles of cheese while exploring their history, characteristics and flavor notes with our team of enthusiastic cheesemongers. Soft beverages included. Round up your significant other, gal pal or bestie for a Valentine-kinda night. We’ll be matching up our favorite cheeses with some intriguing partners sure to delight and surprise you. From a variety of wines, to Hot Cheetos and chocolates, this will be a pairing experience extraordinaire. Come see if opposites really do attract.

Join us for a mountain-sized adventure exploring the joys of Alpine-style cheeses - our faves for indulging and melting in the depths of winter. We’ll taste our way through a range of Old and New World versions and then indulge in some gooey, melted dishes sure to warm your heart. Wine and beer service included.

A new installment of the popular Marché salon takes a fun look at cheese and wine in Pop Culture. Music, TV, film, and the arts have all been influenced by this pair of our favorite things. We’ll guide you through some plentiful tastings, looking at their relevance in forming our sentiments and norms for their era.

This series of four variety-focused sessions with Marché wine director John Kay takes you on a journey of the world’s fine wines. For the novice to the enthusiast, these are sure to up your wine appreciation as you discover how the same grape can produce a variety of different characteristics. Includes a selection of paired cheeses from our collection. First Thursdays of the month.
