Marché Classes
We love talking about great cheese almost as much as we love eating it. So what a perfect way for us to spread the love (and the curd) – our ongoing series of classes designed to widen your appreciation for all things fromage. Appropriate for the novice to the cheese whiz, our classes are structured yet informal and include class outline, tasting notes and plenty of cheese and wine.
We also offer our fun and informative classes for your own group or association, both in-store and virtually. Click here to learn more about our private events and contact us to start planning your special event.
Cancellations must me made within 72 hours of the class in order to be refunded. We will do our best to fill seats from our waitlist.

We’ll sample each region’s iconic riches and occasionally pull off the road for sidetrips to enjoy some unsung beauties. Explore America by the glass and nibble! AMERICAN ROAD TRIP - THE WEST - Wednesday, 6/25/2025, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
While wine and cheese are made across America, the West certainly is the most prominent wine production area and is home to many notable creameries. This class will feature bites and sips from some of our favorite west coast sources.
-
AMERICAN ROAD TRIP - THE MIDWEST - Wednesday, 7/30/2025, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
With America’s Dairyland to the north of us and oodles of farmstead creameries dotted around the region, the Midwest has a rich cheese production history. Grape growing and winemaking may not be as well-known here, but we’re fortunate to have Michigan award-winning winemaker Phil Mahan joining us to share his wines for the evening.
-
AMERICAN ROAD TRIP - EAST- Wednesday, 8/20/2025, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
The “Old World” of America has plenty to offer in the way of cheese, charcuterie, and wine. Lakes, mountain ranges, and river valleys provide great environments for flavor development. Our tasting off-ramp for this class will take us to New York, Virginia, Vermont, and other tasty eastern destinations.
